College Prep LLC was founded by Megan Dorsey, a graduate of Rice University, and certified high school counselor. Megan is an independent educational consultant who specializes in helping high school students with all aspects of the college admission process.

Get Megan, not some college kid with a workbook!
Sugar Land classes are taught by Megan, an experienced educator with over 18 year’s experience in test preparation. Other test prep programs are led by instructors trained to teach from a workbook. Megan wrote the workbook! Why not study with an expert?
She has worked for The Princeton Review as a Master LSAT Trainer, piloted a joint SAT prep program between Kaplan and HISD, and developed her own SAT curriculum for Houston high schools. In 2005, Megan was one of the first educators in Houston selected and trained to grade the new essay portion of the SAT. She acted as an official College Board grader for a year. Her extensive experience with the SAT is apparent in the College Prep course material.

As a certified counselor dedicated to college issues, Megan helped students of all ability levels with a wide range of topics including National Merit Scholarships, NCAA athletics, college selection, extracurricular activities, essays, applications, deadlines, college visits, interviews, financial aid, and individual problems.
Associations and accreditations
HECA (Higher Education Consultants Association) promotes professional standards in the practice of independent college admission consulting. HECA members must participate in on-going professional development, agree to abide by the Standards of Ethics, and demonstrate experience and education in the field.
Better Business Bureau Accreditation is available to businesses by invitation only. To be accredited by the BBB a business must maintain a positive track record in the marketplace, advertise honestly, tell the truth, be transparent, honor promises, be responsive, safeguard privacy, and embody integrity. College Prep LLC maintains an “A” rating with the BBB with no complains filed.
NACAC (National Association of College Admissions Counselors) is an organization or more than 12,000 professionals from around the world dedicated to serving students as they make choices about pursuing postsecondary education. NACAC is committed to promoting high professional standards that foster ethical and social responsibility in admissions work.
Texas Association for College Admission Counseling (TACAC) is a non-profit educational organization comprised of secondary counselors, college admission counselors, independent educational consultants, and other educational professionals who work with students in the transition from high school to college. The organization provides a variety of professional networking opportunities for members and engages in research pertinent to the organization.
